Marwell Hotel Winchester South

This place suits me perfectly! I love the comfy rooms, free Wi-Fi, and the indoor pool. On my first stay, the staff guided me to a great food delivery option. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay. I'm coming back in 2025!

We got room with beautiful decor and a decent size bathroom to relax. The fact that it overlooked the woodland.

Loved this well priced hotel, easy to find, with genuinely professional staff at reception desk and breakfast room. The room was well presented and brand-new and the view of the garden was relaxing! The property was in a remote location to front garden. It was also close enough to close to zoo, walking distance across the car park and the restaurant in the morning. The a la carte restaurant for breakfast was the best part.

Unique lodge-style architecture

It was a very good place to stay in Winchester. It took us 20 minutes to drive to this quaint accommodation from the airport.

I thoroughly enjoyed its smart employees.

My superior twin room was equipped with an electric kettle, central heating and an iron. The bed was large and I had a private bathroom. The hotel was in a handy location, near to family in the area. Moreover, it's so close to the forest, the zoo, Winchester.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The food was excellent. Nice quite relaxing comfortable hotel.

The room was big and comfortable, and the evening meal was second to none, bit pricey but well worth it. Mainly French staff and very polite and helpful. As the hotel is situated just outside of the zoo the gardens have many features of animals in the wild which is very cleverly done. Most attractive

The pool, sauna and gym area was very small.

Hotel had no record of our booking through Booked.net, however rooms were available.

There is a quirky safari lodge theme to the whole place, including animal print soft furnishings!

Just an ideal choice for a quick stopover in Winchester with all in all great value for money. The food was okay, but the surroundings felt shabby, lacking the ambiance expected for fine dining. If you want to enjoy a meal, consider eating outside the hotel for a better experience.

The Swimming pool was really nice, room service was good.

Very helpfull staff, and excellent evening dinner, also liked the unusual design if the hotel and rooms.

The hotel is novel with it's jungle theme, proximity to Marwell Zoo and the surrounding woodland and chalet style accommodation. The room was large and comfortable.

The decor was a little tired and the bathroom well-worn. But it was clean.
